Chanakya Neeti - A life vision to Youth

Chanakya is considered as the pioneer of the field of economic and political science in India. He is traditionally identified as Kautilya or Vishnugupta. He managed the first Maurya emperor Chandragupta's rise to power at a young age and is widely credited for having played an important role in the establishment of the Maurya Empire, the first empire to rule most of the Indian subcontinent.
It is true that nobody can change the past. But, some people keep thinking about what happened in the past and end up ruining their present and future.
According to Acharya Chanakya, a person who is always worried about whatever happened in the past can never be happy. One should learn from their past and move ahead in life.

He says, every person should make sure that he doesn't repeat the mistake committed in past. Staying upset about something that happened will not serve any purpose. Similarly, people should not get upset about some predictions that may happen in future. chanakya says, predicting future is impossible and there are high chances that the prophesies may prove false. Hence, a man should not worry about the past or the future and live in the present. Following this principle will keep a man happy throughout his life.

These are the "secret of success" quotes from Chanakya which are still applicable in today's modern world context. so I thought to share it here with you all.
    1. "Before you start some work, always ask yourself three questions - why am I doing it, What the result might be and will I be successful. Only when you think deeply and find satisfactory answers to these questions, go ahead."
    2. "As soon as the fear approaches near, attack and destroy it."
    3. "A man is great by deeds, not by birth."
    4. "Education is the best friend. An educated person is respected everywhere. Education beats the beauty and the youth."
    5. "The world's biggest power is the youth and the beauty of the woman."

Caring for Our Elders and Inspiring the Youth

From the day of our birth, we are cared for and loved by our elders. Our parents and our grandparents have always been there to hold our hands, right from the time we took our first step to the time we spoke our first words which were 'Maa and Daddy'. Our elders tried their best to teach us good values.

They taught everything we need to know and they have always guided us. They are the ones with whom we share our problems and difficulties. but after children grown up, they neglect their own parents who brought them in to this world. Children feel that since they are old, they are burden to them. Sometimes the children leave their parents in Old Age Homes and continue with their own lives. Our parents give us a lot of love and care when we need it, and the same parents are left alone in their old age.
our parents are angles sent by God to take care of us and love us. So they should also be loved and cared for, by us when they become old. When we make mistakes, they forgive us. I believe that parents like erasers and children are like pencils. When a pencil makes a mistake while writing the eraser wipes away the mistake.

A successful society is one that takes care of its, elderly and vulnerable, and one that draws strength from solidarity. It is about bringing everyone along, moving ahead together and sharing in the fruits of our success. Our education system must prepare our young for such a competitive, fast-changing world. Our system therefore has to teach our young to have multi-disciplinary skills, to be versatile and adaptable. We must equip our young with skills of the future, in a world where work will be transformed and enabled by technology.

So can't we love our parents and care for them and repay them in some way for all they do for us. Why are some people kept in the Old Age Homes when their own sons and daughters can look after them. Let us serve our parents and make them happy. By doing so, we will be serving God.

How can become a sucessful person?

As we are talking about our youth generation a question always arises in every persons mind is "How can we become  successful person? Lets talk about "success"- What is success? How does one become successful? What are the things we should do to be successful or to gain success? The answer to some of these question may be found in this post.

Its very true that "success depends on attitude". But what does this attitude means? Attitude means the position of our mind, to do any work. This is also the ability and determination to overcome any obstacles in order to gain success.
A successful person always dream about achieving great things. He always thinks positively and this help him attain success in any field he would like. It is said that "hard work is the key to success", so a successful person has to be hardworking and should also have confidence in himself. But also he should not be overconfident, as it will not give him any success. If we lose hard work, then the success remains locked inside. Therefore we should always work hard and try to unlock that leads to success.

We should respect ourselves, and success will automatically follow us and lead us to a new life. But sometimes, along with success, a person may also face a lot of problems, due to which he loses his self confidence and starts to avoid his work. But if faces the problem with positive spirit and courage, then he can easily overcome the problem. And then, this person can go on to be lamp in others lives and he will always light the way and always be an inspiration to others. in order to succeed in life, one's desire for success should be greater then his fear of failure. Sometimes we say that "success is like a mattress of sand, the movement we try to relax on it,  its slips away. So in order to be successful person, it is important to remember that laziness and relaxation for a long time is greatest failure, and the biggest tragedy of life. Before starting work, a person should always remember three things, that is, always aim to know more than others, expect less then others and only then success will knock at one's door.

Swami Vivekananda - An Inspiration to Youth

Swami Vivekananda  -An Inspiration to Youth

Youth are considered to be the future of any country. The future progress of any country depends upon the youth. Youth is that period of our life, when we have limitless energy, creativity at its best, and the 'Never say die" spirit is very strong. The capacity can be utilized to its full capacity only when we follow a 'role model' or 'icon'. It is at this stage in life that one is ready to take on any task no matter how difficult it may be
Swami Vivekananda can be  great inspiration not just to the Indian youth, but to the youngsters around the world. He was born on 12 January 1863, which is now celebrated as "National Youth Day". The life and messages of  Swami Vivekananda is highly inspirational for the youth. His writing contains several articles with a universal and inspiring message for the youth. He believed that the youth should have great respect for their parents and elders. most of the time we can see that youth in particular become violent. Therefore youth is required to gain the quality like tolerance and practice of the principles of Ahimsa. Swami's definition of Ahimsa is "Never producing pain by thought , word or deed in any living being is called Ahimsa.

Swamiji had a deep sense of self-respect and respect and also waned all Indians to be equally conscious of their self-respect. He used to fight for others and also tells people want to fight for their self-respect.  Swami had a faith of coming youth will respect their views. We should not see the evil in others. It is said that we cannot see evil. Unless we see ourselves with an evil mind. Swamiji wants people to be innocent and pure and to do novel things.

This are some of the views of Swami Vivekananda. If the modern youth take in the great virtue of self-confidence, purity, non-violence and service to others advised and exemplified by the glorious works of Swami Vivekananda, the life of the modern youth would be better.
